LARRY KIRSCHNER

In my head I've been doing standup for 30 years. In the real world, it's been more like four. After an entire life spent trying to make people laugh at school, bars, parties, and through the ads I write for a living, I realized it was time to hit the stage. So that's what I did, and I haven't looked back.

 

By day I still earn a paycheck convincing people to spend their money on dish detergent or constipation medicine, but nights and weekends I ask them to spend money on me. And they have, at great clubs all over New York such as Carolines, Gotham, Governor's, and many more. I was also a top ten finalist in a nationwide online search for comedians to appear on Comedy Central's @midnight with Chris Hardwick. These days I frequently appear as part of the "Character Flawed" show currently at Dangerfield's. Hopefully wherever I play next, you'll be in that crowd.
